If Serie A does indeed resume on June 13, the plan is to play every three to four days until August 2, with the Coppa Italia in July, Champions and Europa League in August.
The medical protocol was finally agreed today, meaning group training can start from Monday May 18, and the Lega Serie A confirmed it is ready to resume the fixture list from the weekend of June 13.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, the planned schedule would be to play two Serie A rounds per week, which would lead to a conclusion by the UEFA deadline of August 2.
It'd resume from the outstanding Week 25 games, then everyone would play from Week 27.
There would only be two gaps, on July 1 and 22, to play the remaining Coppa Italia semi-final second legs Juventus-Milan and Napoli-Inter, then the Final.
If all this goes to plan, the remaining Italian clubs in Europe – Juventus, Napoli, Atalanta, Inter and Roma – can play their Champions League and Europa League fixtures in August.
