Hellas Verona are allegedly looking to the future, eyeing possible deals with Atalanta defender Davide Bettella and Monaco forward Pietro Pellegri.
Journalist Nicolò Schira has claimed the Gialloblu have targeted two youngsters to help the future plans at the Bentegodi.
Bettella, a 20-year-old centre-back currently on loan at Pescara, has been targeted on an initial loan deal from Atalanta ahead of the next season.
The former Inter youngster has played 17 games in Serie B this term and is a current Under-21 international in Italy, capped twice by the Azzurrini.
Pellegri is another one for the future, but the 19-year-old left Genoa on a €20.9m transfer to Monaco in January 2018 and has scored once in six Ligue 1 appearances for the Rogue et Blancs.
This term, he has not featured for the French club and could be heading back to Italy, with Verona as a possible destination, according to Schira.
Pellegri scored three goals in nine Serie A games for the Rossoblu before his move to France, his first coming against Roma on May 28, 2017.
