Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has finally returned to Italy after spending almost two months in his native Argentina.
Higuain was spotted landing in Turin this afternoon, and he will soon undergo medical tests at J Medical before observing two weeks in self-isolation.
His spell in Argentina sparked speculation about his future at Juve, with the 32-year-old said to be particularly concerned by the coronavirus pandemic as he tended for his sick mother.
River Plate also made no secret of their admiration for the hitman, who began his career with the Buenos Aires club.
Higuain’s return means every member of the Bianconeri’s first-team squad is now back in Italy, Adrien Rabiot included.
