SPAL striker Alberto Cerri fortunately emerged unscathed from a car crash on Friday, claim reports.
The former Milan, Parma and Cagliari centre-forward collided with another vehicle when driving his Porsche through the streets of Ferrara, according to the Gazzetta di Parma newspaper.
It’s suggested the vehicle was totalled and had to be towed away, but that Cerri himself was unhurt.
The 24-year-old joined SPAL on loan from Cagliari in January, but has not been able to play a single minute of football for them yet.
Cerri had found the net twice with one assist in 13 competitive games this season for Cagliari.
