Juventus are reportedly in talks with Chelsea for both Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri, with Miralem Pjanic going the other way, but it depends on Barcelona.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have asked Chelsea for the double deal so that Maurizio Sarri can reunite with players who know his system well.

Pjanic is known to be on the way out, to be replaced by a midfielder who is more functional to the fast-passing style of the new tactician.

A straight swap would be entirely possible, with Pjanic and Jorginho both valued in the region of €40m.

However, Juve continue to see Arthur Melo as the first choice, with Pjanic also eager to go to Barcelona rather than Stamford Bridge.

The only hold-up is Arthur, who is point-blank refusing to leave Camp Nou, throwing a spanner in the works.

Barcelona are trying to offer other players as part of the exchange, but Juve aren’t enthusiastic about Arturo Vidal or Ivan Rakitic.

Now Nelson Semedo is being proposed instead, a right-back who would replace outgoing Mattia De Sciglio in the Juventus ranks.
