The verdict on Serie A’s new medical protocol, sent to the CTS for approval, will reportedly be announced within the next two days.
The Lega Serie A, Player’s Association and Association of Sports Medics had all rejected the protocol agreed by the Government, mainly because it demands a whole group to be quarantined if there’s a positive test for coronavirus.
Serie A wants a similar approach to Germany and Spain, who will only isolate the individual who has coronavirus.
The new protocol was drawn up yesterday and the Corriere della Sera claims the verdict will arrive within Wednesday.
It has been drawn up by Serie A, handed to the FIGC, who in turn has passed it on to Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora.
The Minister has immediately forwarded the new measures to the CTS for approval and the newspaper claims we will know their verdict in the next two days.
