Edinson Cavani has reportedly told Atletico Madrid his agreed personal terms are no longer valid, as he makes his requests to Inter.
The Uruguay international will be a free agent when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires this summer.
He had been very close to Atletico Madrid and even gave them his word a few weeks ago, but now Sport Mediaset claim he has contacted Diego Simeone to warn that is no longer the case.
Cavani is eager to consider other options, most notably Inter, who turned their focus on to him after Dries Mertens decided to stay at Napoli.
According to Mediaset, the veteran is asking for at least €8m per season wages, which is still a reduction from the current €12m per year deal at PSG.
It would be a return to Serie A for Cavani, who played for Palermo and Napoli before his Parisian jaunt.
