Cagliari patron Tommaso Giulini suggests Inter welcome Radja Nainggolan back in the squad and claims the midfielder would fit in at any top club.

The Nerazzurri loanee helped Cagliari to their best start of the season since the Scudetto winners in 1969-70 but the Rossoblu struggled to keep their momentum over the winter.

Nainggolan, who was sold from Roma to Inter in the summer of 2018, returned on loan to Cagliari after one season at San Siro and has been linked with a permanent move away from the club this summer.

His current President in Sardinia, on the other hand, claims Inter would be wise to keep the former Belgium international.

“He has a great personality and Inter have already tried to sign players of his kind this year,” Giulini told Telelombardia. “In my opinion, he would be convenient to have for all the top clubs and Inter would make a good deal to keep him.

“Otherwise, we will be there too. It depends on Inter, who holds the cards, and we have not yet addressed his future.”
