Report: Milan in ongoing talks with Jovic

Milan are reportedly in ongoing talks with Real Madrid, hoping to bring Luka Jovic to San Siro on a two-year loan with an option to buy.

Journalist Nicolò Schira claims the Rossoneri have made the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker their priority this summer and are trying to bring the 22-year-old on loan from Los Blancos.

After scoring 25 goals in 54 Bundesliga matches at Frankfurt, the La Liga giants paid €60m to bring Jovic to Madrid, but he has struggled to find his feet in the Spanish capital.

The Serbia international has appeared 15 times in the League with Real Madrid, contributing two goals and one assist in the process.

He has not scored in his seven appearances in the Champions League and the Copa del Rey, either and could be moving on after only one season at the Bernabeu.

Schira writes that the salary of €5m a year could be an obstacle for Milan, who are according to his report in ongoing talks with the Merengues about a move to Italy for the former Benfica man.
