Incoming Milan chief Ralf Rangnick reportedly wants Daniele Bonera and Ariedo Braida to form part of his new-look management team.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are hiring Rangnick as an English-style manager, responsible for coaching and recruitment.

However, the newspaper writes he wants some Italians among his ‘eight collaborators’ to help speed up his adjustment to life at San Siro.

The veteran was the Rossoneri’s general manager between 1986 and 2013, working under Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani.

He went on to serve as international football advisor at Barcelona between 2015 and 2019.

La Gazzetta writes he could be joined by Bonera, who is currently on Stefano Pioli’s coaching staff.

The former Diavolo defender, who is close to obtaining his UEFA Pro Licence, is seen as being able to provide ‘continuity’.
