Hellas Verona director Tony D’Amico admits ‘there is a lot of attention’ around coach Ivan Juric, so it’s entirely possible he’ll leave next season.

Verona were promoted from Serie B via the play-offs and then hired former Genoa boss Juric, but their results have been remarkable, with nine wins, eight draws and eight defeats putting them in eighth place.

“There is a lot of attention around our coach and the results speak for him,” director of sport D’Amico told Sky Sport Italia.

“Juric is fundamental for our project and we hope to keep him with us and continue the work we started for a long time to come. Our rapport has been very honest from the first day and that is our strength.”

Fiorentina, Parma and West Ham United have all been linked with the 44-year-old Croatian tactician.

“I am sure the coach will have many opportunities going forward, but we also believe that we can develop Verona together and improve our infrastructure to consolidate our Serie A position.

“We’ll be honest with each other throughout, so if there is the possibility of continuing together, we will do it.”
