Uncertain times for Lozano

Hirving Lozano has struggled to establish himself at Napoli and could be on his way after only one season at the San Paolo.

La Repubblica claims the Mexican could join the other four outcasts on their way out the door in the upcoming transfer market.

Jose Callejon, Allan, Faouzi Ghoulam and Arkadiusz Milik look set to part ways with the Partenopei this summer, but the newspaper has hinted that neither Lozano features in coach Gennaro Gattuso’s plans.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis expects to get €40m for Allan and €50m for Milik but will most likely have to accept a loss if Lozano leaves the club.

Napoli paid €38m when the 24-year-old arrived from PSV Eindhoven last summer and after 16 games in Serie A, contributing two goals and one assists, the attacker has dropped in value during the turbulent campaign.

The duo Dries Mertens and Piotr Zielinski, on the other hand, are reportedly only formalities away from signing new deals with the club.
