Mandragora 'flattered' by Napoli link

Rolando Mandragora’s agent confirms ‘Juventus have an option to buy him back from Udinese for €26m,’ but he would be ‘flattered’ by Napoli interest.

The midfielder turns 23 next month and Juve sold him to Udinese for €20m in 2018, but keeping a buy-back clause in his contract.

“I think there are going to be a lot of interesting opportunities for Mandragora in the next transfer window,” agent Luca De Simone told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“It’s true that the player went to Udinese for two years with an option to buy that Juventus have at €26m. Obviously, this is only an option and not an obligation.”

The deadline for the option is at the end of this season, so if the Bianconeri do not activate it, Mandragora is free to negotiate a deal elsewhere.

There are suggestions Napoli are interested, especially as Mandragora was born in Naples.

“We are not aware of any Napoli interest, but we would certainly be flattered if that were the case,” added his representative.
