Atletico Madrid have set their sights on Duvan Zapata, but Atalanta want at least €60m for the Colombia international striker.
The 29-year-old had quite a few injury problems this season, but still managed to contribute 12 goals and seven assists in 19 competitive appearances for La Dea.
According to Sport Mediaset, this has caught the eye of Atletico Madrid and Diego Simeone, who admires his remarkable work-rate and physicality.
Atalanta paid €26m to purchase Duvan Zapata from Sampdoria and it’s reported he will cost at least €60m if he is to move on from Bergamo this summer.
Inter had also been linked before going for Romelu Lukaku, while Juventus considered him for their front line too.
Atalanta reached the Champions League quarter-final and currently sit fourth in Serie A, so are in no rush to sell.
