Gianluca Petrachi looks to be on his way out of Roma, but Corriere dello Sport claims that has not stopped the sporting director from conducting some late business.

According to the newspaper, he is targeting Bustos as a ‘Plan B’ in the event a deal for Everton forward Moise Kean cannot be struck.

The 21-year-old has nine goals and four assists in 20 games for Talleres this season and will form part of Argentina’s Olympic football team next summer.

Likened to Inter sensation Lautaro Martinez for his ‘talent, quality and flair’ the centre-forward can also play out wide.

Petrachi is understood to have already opened talks for the player, who was recently the subject of an €8m bid from Atletico Mineiro.

Il Corriere specifies Talleres want €12m for their 80 percent share in the attacker – €4m less than the release clause in his contract, which expires in 2022.

Bustos could be joined at the Olimpico by Montiel, with Closs Continental claiming the Giallorossi are considering tabling €11m offer by the end of this week.

The 23-year-old, who is a right-back by trade, has two caps for Argentina at senior level.
