Lazio transfer target Ianis Hagi has officially agreed to sign a long-term contract with Glasgow Rangers after his loan spell.
The Romania international, 21-year-old son of legend Gheorghe Hagi, had spent this term on loan in Scotland from KRC Genk.
“I am excited about re-joining the squad for pre-season and putting on the famous shirt once again. There was interest from other clubs, but my priority was always to return to Glasgow and play for Rangers,” Hagi told the official Rangers website.
“I really enjoyed my loan spell at Ibrox and look forward to playing in front of our fans very soon, but for now I hope all of the Rangers fans and your families are staying safe and well.”
He scored three goals in his 12 competitive games for the Glasgow club.
Hagi was linked with a return to Serie A for Lazio, having already featured in the Fiorentina youth academy.
