Mario Balotelli and Brescia seem to have reached breaking point after he was reportedly turned away from a meeting with President Massimo Cellino.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the pair were due to meet on Friday afternoon with ‘a desire to clear the air’.

It came after the striker missed training without a valid reason and his paymaster called signing him a ‘mistake’.

However, the newspaper claims that while ‘SuperMario’ did turn up, he was forced to wait half-an-hour outside Cellino’s office before the Brescia owner ‘chose not to talk to him’.

The 29-year-old is contracted to the Rondinelle until 2022, but he can leave for nothing if they are relegated to Serie B this season.

As it stands, they are nine points from safety in Serie A with just 12 games remaining.
