Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan is mourning the death of his niece after she sadly lost her battle with cancer.
Sport Mediaset reports his niece had been suffering from the illness for a long time.
“Honey, we all miss you. Your boyfriend, kids, dad, brothers and sisters, everyone,” he wrote on Instagram.
“So young, I still can’t believe it. Now go to mum and give her a big hug. She’ll protect you even more.”

It comes while the 32-year-old’s wife is fighting her own battle with cancer.
Nainggolan also lost his mother to cancer.
