Milan defender Leo Duarte has reportedly sustained only a minor muscular injury and could be back within two weeks.
There was a scare when the centre-back pulled up during training, especially so soon after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s calf strain.
According to MilanNews.it, tests have now shown Duarte has only overworked the muscle and there are no clear lesions.
This means he could well be back on the pitch in around two weeks.
He’d therefore be ready for the first Serie A match against Lecce on June 22, but probably miss the Coppa Italia semi-final with Juventus on June 12 or 13.
