The 33-year-old has revealed the players are looking forward to resume play, when Inter have to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat in the first leg at the Giuseppe Meazza.

“We are almost there… and we can’t wait,” Candreva said on Instagram. “The green carpet, the teammates, the emotions that only sport gives us.

“We hope to give ease and bring smiles to all our fans after this period of suffering and difficulty for the whole country.”

Napoli-Inter is scheduled at 20:45 GMT on Saturday and will be the second match after the break, with JuventusMilan set for Friday.
