Torino are edging closer to agreeing personal terms with Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura, who will be a free agent this summer.
Atalanta, Roma, Fiorentina and Arsenal had also been linked with his services, but Toro remain the favourites.
According to Tuttosport, the latest proposal from the Granata is very close to gaining his approval.
It’d be a two-year contract worth €1.75m per season, whereas he is asking for €2m until June 2023.
Bonaventura turns 31 in August and has been at Milan since leaving Atalanta in 2014.
So far this season, he has contributed three goals in 20 competitive games.
