Reggina director Massimo Taibi confirms the newly-promoted Serie B side are ‘at an advanced stage’ in talks to sign Jeremy Menez.
It would be a return to Italy for the former Milan and Roma winger, who had until recently been in the French second division with Paris FC.
“We are at an advanced stage in the talks for Menez, but haven’t finalised anything yet,” former goalkeeper Taibi told reporters.
“I am working on it and feeling confident.”

Reggina topped their Serie C group, so due to the truncated season amid the COVID-19 pandemic, were granted automatic promotion to Serie B.
They are busy investing in experience for next season and already have ex-Atalanta and Napoli centre-forward German Denis on their books.
The 38-year-old ‘Tanque’ scored 12 goals in 23 Serie C games this season.
Another current Reggina player is Hachim Mastour, who was expected to become the next big thing at Milan and who only turns 22 next week.
