MilanNews.it reports that Raiola and Milan are talking new and current players, with Dumfries as a possible target on the transfer market and clearing the future of players already at Milan.

Most importantly the Italy international and first choice in goal, Donnarumma, who could leave on a free in June 2021 unless the Diavolo manage to convince him to sign a new deal.

The report claims the signs are positive and the club is closing in on agreeing to sign an extension of further two years, until 2023.

There’s still work to be done on the financial aspect and the personal terms of a new deal for the important shot stopper.

A hypothesis of splitting the wage between fixed costs and added bonuses could suit the Rossoneri’s economic situation best, but the talks are reportedly fluid and with two parties eager to find a solution.

Donnarumma doesn’t, according to the outlet, want to force a move from San Siro and his contributions in Serie A this term has underlined his desire to do well at Milan.

The 21-year-old has kept 10 clean sheets in 24 games this term and should be ready for action when Milan resume play in Serie A against Lecce on June 22.
