As expected, Sporting CP have officially extended their contract with Milan transfer target Eduardo Quaresma, including a €45m release clause.
The 18-year-old centre-back was entering the final year of his current deal, but put pen to paper on an extension to June 2025.
A statement released by the Portuguese club also confirmed the €45m release clause.
“This renewal shows that the club believes in me and I believe in the club,” Quaresma told the official Sporting CP website.

The Rossoneri had been strongly linked with a bid, but the contract extension makes that considerably more difficult.
