“We haven’t even been able to play friendlies and such a long break has frankly never happened before. It’s also going to be hotter in summer, so we’re trying to prevent injuries and evaluate the situation as best we can.”

Christian Kouame is the only absentee, as the Viola have Franck Ribery back from his ankle surgery, even if he’s probably not going to be risked from the start.

“We need to be very concentrated, as Brescia have caused problems for a lot of clubs this season and we can expect it to be difficult. After all this time out, the predictions are turned around and we don’t know what could happen.”
