Roma attacker Nicolò Zaniolo has reportedly the recovery under control after a medical follow-up at the Villa Stuart and can increase intensity in training.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that the Italy international has taken yet another step towards resumption and the positive news will be well received at the Giallorossi.
Zaniolo should be able to continue his progress by intensifying the workload and thereafter resume contact in training.
The 20-year-old has been out since he ruptured his ACL in January and looked set to be out for the remainder of the season and thus miss out on a place in this summer's Euro 2020.
But the pandemic interrupted sports globally and the former Inter youngster could return to the pitch when Roma fight for a place in the Champions League and will have another year to fight for a place in Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad for the European Championship, now scheduled for next summer.
