It is now official, Jeremy Menez returns to Italy after agreeing a three-year contract with newly-promoted Serie B side Reggina.
The decision had already been in the air after he terminated his deal early with Ligue 2 side Paris FC, and had been in negotiations over personal terms.
“I can now confirm that Jeremy Menez is a Reggina player, we have agreed a three-year contract,” announced President Luca Gallo in his press conference.
“On June 26, he will arrive at the Catania airport at midday. At 14.00 he will be at the Port of Messina and at 15.00 at the Port of Reggio-Calabria.
“On June 27, Menez will be presented to the media, then visit the Reggina Store to meet fans for autographs and photos. He is a champion, my gift for our promotion into Serie B.”
Menez is now 33 years old, but has plenty of experience in Italian football with Roma from 2008-11 and Milan from 2014-16.
