Milan thought they had lost Simon Kjaer for the next match against Roma, but the latest medical report shall have offered a glimmer of hope.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals the Dane could recover in time for the match on Sunday, as the medical staff have reported back with good news.
Kjaer suffered a knee injury against Lecce last time but the scans excluded damage to the ligament and the 31-year-old was initially ruled out for the Diavolo’s next match against the Giallorossi.
But the newspaper claims he improves with every passing day and it’s not unthinkable that he could be back against Paulo Fonseca’s men.
Yesterday, the Corriere dello Sport revealed that Milan are not willing to risk anything to extend the Denmark international’s time out.
But with minimal options at the back, the daily improvement has offered Stefano Pioli some hope.
