Borja Valero scored his fourth goal for Inter against Sassuolo on Wednesday, but it was his first at San Siro in Serie A.
The Spanish midfielder impressed with a solid performance against the Neroverdi and thought he had scored the winner when he sent Inter in a 3-2 lead in the 86th minute.
Giacomo Magnani equalised one minute before time and made sure Sassuolo returned with a point, in a thriller of a match.
The 3-2 goal was Borja Valero’s second of the season, his fourth in total for Inter but the first at the Giuseppe Mazza up until this point. The three others have come against Hellas Verona, Udinese and Fiorentina away.
The 35-year-old has played 11 times in the League this season and seems set to leave the club after his current deal runs out this summer.
