The daily death toll has increased by four in 24 hours, while there were 106 more positive tests compared to yesterday’s tally of 190.
The rise in new cases can be explained by those in the epicentre of Lombardy doubling, as well as outbreaks in the towns of Bologna (Emilia-Romagna) and Mondragone (Campania).
