Inter’s Valentino Lazaro has extended his loan spell at Newcastle United, who have also tied down Udinese target Matty Longstaff for two more months.

Newcastle took Lazaro on loan in January with a €22m option to buy, and the right-sider has made seven appearances since his move to England.

It remains to be seen whether the Austrian’s stay will be made permanent, but in the meantime he has committed his short-term future to the Magpies.
