Probable line-ups: Juventus-Lecce

Maurizio Sarri could rest Cristiano Ronaldo for the match against Lecce and Blaise Matuidi seems set to deputise at left-back tonight.

The Bianconeri coach might give the Portuguese talisman a breather ahead of an intense July, meaning that Ronaldo might sit out both matches against the Giallorossi this term.

Douglas Costa is ready to take his place in the attacking trident and without suspended Danilo and injured duo Alex Sandro and Mattia De Sciglio, the French midfielder Matuidi might have to step in at left-back.

Adrien Rabiot could take his place in the midfield, as Fabio Liverani’s Lecce arrive without a host of influential players and could come out in a very defensive line-up.

Gianluca Lapadula, Diego Farias, Alessandro Deiola, Cristian Dell’Orco and Zan Majer will be out.

Filippo Falco and Riccardo Saponara fight to support Khouma Babacar, who will most likely play as a lone striker tonight.

A Juventus win would increase the gap to seven points, at least until Lazio face Fiorentina on Saturday. Lecce, on the other hand, fight to survive and are in desperate need of points after three consecutive defeats.

Juventus (probable): Szczesny; Cuadrado, De Ligt, Bonucci, Matuidi; Bentancur, Pjanic, Rabiot; Bernardeschi, Dybala, Douglas Costa

Lecce (probable): Gabriel; Donati, Meccariello, Lucioni, Rossettini, Calderoni; Mancosu, Tachtsidis, Barak; Falco; Babacar

Referee: Piccinini (VAR: Valeri)
