Parma coach Roberto D’Aversa is well aware that Inter ‘cannot afford another slip-up’ at the Stadio Tardini, so they’ll ‘show respect, but also play our own football.’

The Ducali are fired up after their 4-1 win away to Genoa, inspired by an Andreas Cornelius hat-trick, whereas Inter were pinned back to 3-3 by Sassuolo.
“It’s going to be a very difficult match for us, but I’ll also say that if Inter really do want to challenge for the Scudetto, they cannot afford another slip-up,” said D’Aversa.
“We will show respect to Inter, but also the confidence to play our own football, because the value of a squad on paper does not necessarily predict the final result.”
Christian Eriksen has the trequartista role now behind the strikers, slightly adjusting the Inter tactics.
“Compared to earlier in the season, Inter’s movements are a little different and we must be ready for them. We know they’ll try to spread it to the flanks, while we must keep errors down to a minimum.
“I have to take all the games into account when making my decisions, including fitness levels, such as the fact Yann Karamoh has only really been training with us for a couple of weeks after his injury. The players are intelligent enough to know that two matches per week is not the same as one.”
