Parma coach Roberto D’Aversa tried to avoid discussing the refereeing decisions in the match against Hellas Verona and claimed the Ducali have themselves to blame after two narrow defeats.
Only days after having lost 2-1 to an Inter comeback, Hellas Verona turned the game to beat Parma in a 3-2 thriller at the Bentegodi.
As D’Aversa pointed out some questionable decisions by referee Paolo Valeri, he insisted his own team were at fault.
“I don’t talk about refereeing decisions, I can only work on our mistakes and think about some of the situations,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “The images are clear, however, but I don’t want to talk about some other situations.
“We have to think that in the last two games, we have brought home zero points because of our mistakes, regardless of some incidents.”
