Reports continue to emerge from Uruguay that Edinson Cavani is on the verge of agreeing personal terms with Roma.
The 33-year-old is a free agent after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ran down, so can negotiate with any club he chooses.
He is no stranger to Serie A, having shot to fame with Palermo, then Napoli, until the €64.5m move to PSG in 2013.
Rumours of Roma talks have been circulating for a while in Uruguay and Sebas Giovanelli reports an intermediary will be meeting with Roma on Tuesday or Wednesday to seal the deal.
There are other alternatives for Cavani, including Newcastle United, Inter or a move to America for MLS.
