Milan could attempt to engage a straight swap with Diego Laxalt going to Lokomotiv Moscow in exchange for Aleksei Miranchuk.
According to Transfer20.com, Sevilla’s ambitions to sign Miranchuk may well be scuppered by the Rossoneri’s plan.
Both Miranchuk and Laxalt are rated at €15m, so it would be a simple exchange of players with no extra cost.
Miranchuk is a 24-year-old creative midfielder who already has 25 senior caps under his belt for Russia.
His contract with Lokomotiv Moscow runs to June 2021 and his twin brother Anton also plays for the club.
This season, he has contributed 13 goals and five assists in 27 competitive games, including two goals in four Champions League appearances.
Curiously, both those goals were against Italian opponents Juventus.
