“We want to keep the momentum going after a good game that we played at a high tempo for the full 90 minutes,” he told Inter TV, referring to the 6-0 thrashing of Brescia.
“It’s not unusual that we found the net with six different players in one game, because it’s a characteristic of this team. We play attacking football and that’s why we’ve scored with more players than anyone else. We have total involvement from every member of the team when attacking or defending, so even our centre-backs are quite prolific.”
Bologna are comfortably mid-table under Sinisa Mihajlovic, although seem to have missed out on European contention.
“It’s going to be very hot for both teams, so we’ll see how that affects the tempo,” continued Conte.
“We had problems against Bologna earlier this season, as we had to fight back from a goal down to beat them. We’re well prepared for what awaits us tomorrow, as we must play with courage, aggression and intensity.
“Rodrigo Palacio is having a fantastic season and he was magnificent in the first game against us. He has such great football intelligence and plays for the team.
“Sinisa is also a coach who has proved himself and I care for him very much. We know it’s a tough obstacle, so we must give our all to overcome it.”
There is some good news for Conte, as Marcelo Brozovic is back in the squad after a muscular issue.
