Milan are expected to activate their €3.5m purchase option on Simon Kjaer, signing him outright from Sevilla.
The Danish international defender has been at San Siro since January, when he cut his loan with Atalanta short due to tactical difficulties with Gian Piero Gasperini.
He has since become a rock in the Rossoneri defence alongside Alessio Romagnoli.
According to Milannews.it, the club has finally agreed to activate the purchase option for €3.5m and buy Kjaer outright.
Time is running out, because the deadline for the clause is reported to be July 15.
The 31-year-old is no stranger to Serie A, having already played for Palermo in 2008-10 and Roma in 2011-12.
