Ralf Rangnick has reportedly suggested former Brescia player Markus Schopp as his assistant manager at Milan next season.
According to German newspaper Leine Zeitung, Schopp is chosen due to his experience playing in Serie A from 2001 to 2005.
He speaks Italian and German, while he is currently the coach of TSV Hartberg in Austria.
The 46-year-old Austrian also played for RB Salzburg in 2005-06 and finished his career a year later at NY Red Bulls.
Stefano Pioli is finding form with Milan, but the club seems set on bringing in Rangnick after months of negotiations.
