Two-match ban for Soriano

The Disciplinary Commission has handed Bologna midfielder Roberto Soriano a two-match ban, whilst Napoli lose Kalidou Koulibaly and Diego Demme for the next game against Genoa.

Serie A’s Giudice Sportivo has banned the Rossoblu player for this week’s two games against Sassuolo and Parma.

He has been suspended for insulting the referee in the 57th minute of the 2-1 win against Inter, when both teams finished the match with 10 men.

Alessandro Bastoni was sent off with two yellow cards and has been awarded a one-match ban, whilst Danilo D’Ambrosio picked up a yellow card suspension. Both will be out against Hellas Verona.

Nine players in total have received a one-match suspension, including Napoli duo Koulibaly and Demme.

Elsewhere, Fiorentina will be without German Pezzella against Cagliari, who must cope without Andrea Carboni.

Atalanta defender Jose Luis Palomino, SPAL’s Thiago Cionek and Udinese’s Ken Sema will have to serve one match as well.

Added, the suspensions from Saturday’s matches include Matthijs De Ligt and Paulo Dybala from Juventus, Sassuolo midfielder Filip Djuricic, Torino defender Armando Izzo and Lecce’s Panagiotis Tachtsidis.
