Serie B side Pescara have sacked coach Nicola Legrottaglie after a poor run of results.

Legrottaglie was only promoted to the role in January, having been in charge of their Primavera team.

However, the former Juventus defender oversaw seven defeats and just four wins from his 12 games at the helm.

He is set to be replaced by ex-Atalanta and Udinese stopper Andrea Sottil on a contract until the end of the season, reports Sky Sport Italia.
