Udinese captain Kevin Lasagna wants to respond with a win against SPAL on Thursday but admitted losing Rolando Mandragora was a ‘big blow’ for the Friulians.
The Bianconeri forward spoke after having lost a 2-0 lead to late goals by Rossoblu attackers Goran Pandev and Andrea Pinamonti.
“We have to turn the page because we had to think about this all night,” he told Udinese TV. “It obviously hurts to draw a game like this.

“We have to turn the page because we had to think about this all night,” he told Udinese TV. “It obviously hurts to draw a game like this.
“Now, we must think about Ferrara because we know it will be another important match for us.”
Lasagna has scored four goals in the last three Serie A matches and Udinese have picked up four points in the process.
“During the lockdown period I continued to work hard, hoping to return and I knew we couldn’t expect to stand still for two months and then train for 20 days before returning to an excellent level.
“Even during those three months, I continued to train. The mental coach who has been following us for a few weeks has also been very important.
“It’s a combination of both athletic and mental preparation.”
Mandragora suffered a serious knee injury in the 1-0 defeat to Torino on June 23 and Lasagna highlighted how much the former Juventus man is missed at the Dacia Arena.
“It was a huge blow,” he conceded. “Rolando is not only a good player but a great lad, losing him has hurt us.
“A few days after the injury, during training, it was clear that something was missing. It was due to his absence. He came to visit us at the hotel in Rome, maybe we brought the strength he gave us to the pitch.
“He has been in Udine for three days and has started his recovery programme. We see him every day, it will be long.”
