Atalanta are reportedly looking at the possibilities of bringing Inter veteran Antonio Candreva to Bergamo this summer.
SportItalia claims the former Italy international has been targeted by Gian Piero Gasperini’s club, in search of experience and quality to keep La Dea among the elite of Italian football.
Candreva’s salary with the Beneamata could be an obstacle for the Orobici and the 33-year-old has previously expressed a wish to end his career at Inter.
The right midfielder, who has contributed three goals and seven assists so far this term, could become available this summer, as coach Antonio Conte reportedly wants to make big changes at San Siro ahead of next season.
Atalanta are through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League this term and currently sit one point behind Inter in Serie A, in with a chance of surpassing both them and Lazio at second.
