Leao: 'Milan fought for every ball'

Rafael Leao reveals what allowed Milan to fight back from 2-0 down to beat Juventus 4-2. ‘All of us were fighting for every ball.’

Adrien Rabiot’s solo effort and a Cristiano Ronaldo strike had seemingly put the game in Juve’s hands, but in the space of six minutes there was the turnaround with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s penalty, Franck Kessie’s equaliser and the Rafael Leao effort at the near post.

“We were 2-0 down, but still had time to do our work and we deserved the win,” he told DAZN.

“All of us were fighting for every ball and that made the difference. There are many games to go and we have to continue like this.

“Ibrahimovic always gives me advice and help, he said I have the talent to make the difference here at Milan. I will certainly be here next season.”
