Reports claim Milan are hard at work to sign RB Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai, who has a €25m release clause.
According to Sportitalia, Milan are ‘trying to close’ a deal for Szoboszlai, as per the instructions of manager-elect Ralf Rangnick.
Rangnick is fully aware of the 19-year-old’s potential, given he is currently Red Bull’s head of sport and development.
The Hungarian can also be snapped up for a fair price, with his release clause set at €25m.
Calciomercato.com is running a similar line, that the Rossoneri are currently ‘looking’ for an agreement with the player.
Amidst the speculation, Szoboszlai even ‘liked’ a Transfermarkt Instagram post referring to the rumour, with the caption that he could be ‘a new talent’ for Milan.
He has scored 12 goals and provided 18 assists in 40 appearances for Salzburg this season, also attracting interest from Napoli and Arsenal.
