Inter loanee Radja Nainggolan has been linked with Fiorentina and the Belgian midfielder has reportedly showed interest in the project in Florence.

Viola patron Rocco Commisso allegedly tried to get Nainggolan last summer, but the former Roma man decided to move back to Cagliari, where he will continue until the end of the current season.

The Sardinians will reportedly do everything they can to keep the influential midfielder but despite having agreed on the transfer fee, the 32-year-old’s wages seem to be the main issue for the Casteddu.

FiorentinaNews claims Commisso will step up his interest again this summer and Nainggolan, who has contributed six goals and six assists in 25 Serie A games this term, seems willing to consider a move.

The former Belgium international's future at San Siro is highly uncertain and the report highligts that Fiorentina could be ready to offer him a deal at the Artemio Franchi.

“Playing in the same team as a champion like [Franck] Ribery is always nice,” Nainggolan told Sky Sport Italia, to further fuel the speculation.
