Roma have officially extended goalkeeper Daniel Fuzato’s contract to June 2023. ‘I know that I need to gain more experience.’
The Brazilian just turned 23 and his previous deal had been due to expire in June 2022.
Fuzato is the third-choice goalkeeper at the Stadio Olimpico this season, after Pau Lopez and Antonio Mirante.
He has not made a single competitive appearance for the senior squad, with only four games for the youth team.
"This extension is an important moment in my career," Fuzato told the official Roma website.
"I know that I need to gain more experience to continue my development, but the confidence the club has shown in my - as demonstrated by this extension - gives me so much pride.
"Tying my long-term future to Roma was my aim and I am delighted to have done that."
Fuzato was signed from Palmeiras in the summer of 2018 for just €0.5m.
