Parma have been given the go-ahead to play Bologna today, as the entire matchday squad has tested negative for COVID-19, including the individual who was quarantined.
The Ducali had the first positive coronavirus test since the restart of Serie A in June, a member of their staff yesterday.
As per the protocol, the entire squad will stay in a training retreat for 15 days and be tested constantly, particularly the day before a game.
A statement released by Parma this afternoon confirms the latest round of tests performed this morning all came back negative.
Curiously, the member of staff who had tested positive has also now returned a negative result.
It suggests the infection was minor and he is entirely asymptomatic.
That means Parma will be able to play Bologna today, with the Rossoblu also submitted to extra tests before and after the match.
