The 20-year-old, who is currently on loan at Perugia, could allegedly be the solution as the Bianconeri have returned to Sassuolo to do business yet again.
Merih Demiral arrived at the Allianz Stadium last summer and Pol Lirola moved to Sassuolo the year before, showing the good business relationship between the two clubs.
The newspaper claims the two clubs are already in talks regarding Locatelli’s future and the price has been set by the Neroverdi, who bought the former Milan player for €12.5m in July 2019.
The 22-year-old has been highly influential at the Mapei Stadium this term, appearing 27 times in Serie A, contributing four assists in the process.
