Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio reveals Antonio Conte doesn’t so much give them the hairdryer treatment as the hurricane. ‘He turned the dressing room upside down.’

The Nerazzurri ended their poor run of results by fighting back from a goal down to beat Torino 3-1 last night.

“We were never worried, because we have a coach who wants to raise the bar and we’re accustomed to chatter from the outside,” D’Ambrosio told Sky Sport Italia.

“We were never worried, because we have a coach who wants to raise the bar and we’re accustomed to chatter from the outside,” D’Ambrosio told Sky Sport Italia.

He was asked about reports Conte is no longer motivated by the Inter project and is ready to move on.

“To be honest, the way the coach speaks to us, it feels like he wants to remain at all costs. It’s normal and only right that he is very demanding with us, as we have to keep stepping up.

“In some games, quite rightly, he turned the dressing room upside down. His demands make us improve, he knows how to win and we must try to follow his advice.”
